Purpose of this blog

I decided to start this blog as a way for friends and family to stay updated on my where abouts and adventures while abroad. After spending two years at Bentley University, enjoying one of the "most beautiful campuses" I decided that it was time for a change and wanted to take advantage of an incredible opportunity, Education Abroad.  I found myself drawn to my Italian heritage and applied for the Lorenzo de Medici Institute in Florence, Italy. The application process was long and drawn out, we finally heard of our acceptances in March - then there was only 5 months to plan, pack and save as much money as possible! I have two goals for my semester in Italy, learn the Italian language and travel as much as possible... to everyone that wishes to live vicariously through me for the next few months.. stay tuned it should be interesting!
